This is the best Mexican Food in the Spokane area. The service is awesome and the owners a great. Eat here a lot. Have not found any place else as good!

Do not miss out on this experience. This small quite place embodies the idea of cozy. The waitress was nice, the food took no time at all, but the greatest part about the experience was the chips & salsa! *Don't look at me like that!* The salsa was fresh and had a good little kick to it, and the chips were to die for. This place, hands down, have the best salsa and chips! I cannot say that enough. What this place will bring you is: friendly and fast service, clean and tidy surroundings, and you can even see your food being cooked!

I have to admit, I didn't expect this quality of Mexican food so far north but I was blown away by the food. The salsa is amazing as well and the service is excellent. Plus they have gigantic margaritas!

Incredible customer service. Likewise, the food was delicious and their french fries (I know, french fries at a Mexican restaurant) were SO GOOD. Literally some of the best fries I've had. Great pricing.

They were very polite and helpful. It's family owned and family orientated. They were very good with my son. It was wonderful to see them making tamales out in the dining area, just gossiping in Spanish, as if they're right at home and there isn't an audience around, eating their food, and entertained with watching them. I look forward to my next visit.

Prior to my last experience I have been here a couple times and tried a few different things. The food is sub-par, and over priced. Today was the last time I will order here. I ordered the fajita burrito. It lacked flavor and was over priced. Not to mention, when I went to take a bite, there was a huge piece of plastic inside my burrito. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The service and food was as great as I was told it would be.Greeted and promptly sat down and was promptly given delicious on site made chips and salsa.I expressed that I had certain food allergies and was taken very seriously like seldemly before.If you go here, expect to either carry out a to go box or loosen up your belt.And if you like interesting memorabilia?You will love the gunnysack they sell as well

Great restaurant! Extremely friendly and helpful service. Prices are rather steep, but the food portions reflect it. You definitely get what you pay for. The food was fantastic; truly authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended.

Salsa was EXTREMELY spicy, like way worse than usual. Prices are the HIGHEST in town so make sure to keep that in mind. You get the same portions as everywhere else, but for 4 or 5 bucks more than normal, per entree. Way overpriced and definitely just takes advantage of the military base being so close. Will not return. I can get the same food for $20 less at at least 10 other Mexican restaurants in town.

La Presa is a great little hole in the wall Mexican joint that has been rocking it for years. The service is always stellar and the food is pretty good. I haven't sampled a large selection of their offerings so I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but their chips and salsa are dynamite! The salsa has a nice bite you don't get most places that serve you cilantro flavored tomato sauce more often than not. Check it out, form your own opinion!

Super good portions, very friendly and attentive waitstaff. The tamale are 3.75 each. Two of them with rice and beans will feed a big man's appetite. Cold beer and a great family style atmosphere. Homestyle Mexican is my favorite food and we have several excellent options in the Spokane area but most do not serve tamale, these guys do and they are good. This restaurant can hold it's own with the best Mexican places in Spokane and kicks but on several places that charge more for less. Been four times and I am definitely going back!

Everything was delicious . Table salsa was a bit hot ( I like mild) Portions were big . Left full with leftovers.

6 stars if possible! We are new to the area and searching for good Mexican food. While we do read reviews before going, we typically like to experience places for ourselves when the reviews are mixed and found this restaurant to be fantastic! Yes, the salsa was spicy but oh so good, that's why we like Mexican food! I ordered a margarita and the young man serving us happily explained the sizes and flavors. My husband had a combo dinner of Chile relleno and shredded beef chimichanga. I had a mixed seafood chimichanga minus the rice. Everything was hot and delicious and more quantity than we could eat in one sitting. Service and food were both excellent and can not wait to try more menu items as there were so many choices that sounded so good! We look forward to our next visit!

The food was a little bland, but the portions were good and the margarita I had was good. The Chile rellano was the traditional egg, not battered, and their Chile verde wasnt amazing. Good service though.

Some of the best Carne asada I have had in a long time. If this place was not 8 hours away I would eat here at least once a week... That's how good it was. Don't forget to have the fried ice cream.Just drove 7 hours to eat here again. The food here is amazing. It's a must for anyone who comes to town.

Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in years!!

My best friend and I love going to La Presa for our lunch breaks. We only get a half hour for lunch and they are capable of getting us in and out inside of twenty minutes. The service is great and the food is fantastic. The salsa is very good and has just the right amount of spice to it. One of our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Spokane area.

The food is good, basic fare. But there are a few unique and spectacular menu options on page 3 and 4 of the menu. The owner gives very personalized, attentive service. Great place overall.
